Joyce Wrice is really coming to terms with her direction this year — her debut EP, Stay Around, was released in May and is one of the best R&B projects of the year. Now, the Los Angeles singer is back with a new 7-inch single titled “Rocket Science,” which is a collaboration with Kay Franklin and Mndsgn on the production. The song is being released on Akashik Records and distributed by Stones Throw, and carries the type of retro soul that Joyce is making a name for lately.
The release comes with a B-side track titled “Play Pretend.”
