Three months ago Kap G released his new DJ Drama hosted mixtape, El Southside. Since the Atlanta rapper has released a music video for the standout track “Girlfriend.” After some time off, Kap G is back today to release a new music video for the song “Don’t Need Em” featuring Young Thug.” One of the other few standout and fan favorites taken from the mixtape that also featured Ca$h Out and Pharrell.
In the music video, directed Be EL Be, the two ATL natives link up from an exotic location with trees surrounding them. The video also follows Kap G on the run from the law as he’s being hunted and tracked in the desert. Once night falls he’s able to make a clean getaway.
