After serving a lengthy prison bid this decade, Kareem “Biggs” Burke has returned home, as his friends in the streets and associates of the industry have welcomed him back with open arms. The original co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records sat down with Elliott Wilson and Brian Miller to discuss how he’s found success, now as a fashion entrepreneur, among other ventures.

But what listeners wanted to hear, including us, was any type of stories from the quiet Harlem OG. He explained building the ROC brand with Jay-Z and Dame Dash during the mid-90s and how they eventually released Reasonable Doubt 20 years ago. Hoffa also went to touch on current relationships with his former business partners, Emory Jones, OG Juan, Kanye West and Pusha T.

However, before the nearly hour and a half conversation ended, he confirmed that he spoke with HOV last month in MSG during Yeezy’s The Life of Pablo listening session. Jigga reportedly told his long-time friend that an new project is in the works and could be his final album. Biggs quickly told his friend, “You’ve been saying this since your debut,” as the two enjoyed a laugh.

With recent news surfacing about Beyoncé rolling out another surprise album this spring though iTunes, the rumored collaboration project between Mr. and Mrs. Carter may be on hold. Let us know in the comments if you want another S. Dot album after you listen below.
