With the ups and downs of the business, we’ve seen Kendrick Lamar shine from the very beginning. Since we heard his KL EP, he’s been consistent with the music up to this point. Although we always thought he was one of the dopest up and comers to drop from the West Coast, it’s good to see him getting the respect he deserves. O.D. serves as his personal experience through the industry the past few months, good and bad. If you need anything else to convince you to check out this project, just go back and listen to “The Heart Part 2.”
Shout out to Kendrick, DJ Dave and TDE. The fans appreciate and respect the grind. Don’t let the downs of the game stop the movement or get in the way of the talent.
