Taylor Swift Teams Up With Kendrick Lamar
Kanye West may have rekindled a friendship with Taylor Swift, but there’s another cross-genre relationship growing. Today, Swift has announced that Kendrick Lamar will star in her new video for “Bad Blood,” taken from her recent album 1989. The visual, directed by Joseph Khan, sees K. Dot playing the role of Welvin da Great, while other co-stars include Lena Dunham, Lily Aldridge, Ellie Goulding, Hayley Williams and Hailee Steinfeld. It premieres Sunday at the Billboard Music Awards.
This isn’t the first time they’ve been in the same headline, after Swift rapped “Backseat Freestyle” and Lamar did a freestyle over “Shake It Off.”
