Kodak Black to Remain in Jail Until October after Police Raid

#FreeKodakBlack

At the top of the year, Kodak Black jumped on IG Live to talk with fans. Unfortunately, he and his camp forgot the hip-hop cops have iPhones and monitor everything going on. During the session, local Broward County authorities ambushed the rapper’s home, leading to a raid.

Well, for nearly three months, Kodak has been locked up, waiting for an update on his case. Today, his attorney revealed that his gun ammunition and drug charges were dropped from his case. However, Kodak admitted to 2 other probation violation charges – driving with a suspended license and allegedly associating with people engaged in criminal activity.

After his plea deal, the Miami rapper was sentenced to one-year in jail, after originally facing up to 12 years in prison for the incident and parole violations. Luckily for him, he’ll get credit for time served and will is set up for an October release with good behavior.

His previous house arrest and four years of probation will be removed from his record, so hopefully our guy can bless the streets with some music content in the fourth quarter.
