There’s another Broward County hopeful coming up in the industry, and he’s just released his first mixtape. Lajan Slim is 22 years of age, and fresh off signing a deal with Def Jam, he’s debuted his new tape Hood Olympian.
His name has been bubbling since he dropped the song “Haitians,” and he was teasing another tape, but instead we’ve been blessed with Hood Olympian. The tape runs 11 songs long, and all Lajan. No features are on the tape, and that’s a bold statement going feature free for his debut project. While we await the release of Kodak Black, it’s great to hear a fresh Broward voice.
