We caught Lalah Hathaway on Terrace Martin‘s “Oakland” single this past week, but she’s been doing her thing way before that, since music runs in her blood (she’s the daughter of the legendary Donny Hathaway). On her new record “Angel,” she takes game from Anita Baker‘s classic and enlists BJ The Chicago Kid to join in the remix. The product is an updated version of the original that sounds more crisp.
