Producer Last Japan has released his new single “Ascend,” and he’s teamed up with one of the UK’s best new emcees AJ Tracey for it. Premiered with Boiler Room, AJ gets right into the four-minute track with no-nonsense bars from the off, where he helps set the tone for the murky production. It’s a London collaboration at its finest, and you can almost instantly imagine it ringing off the walls of a dark enclosure. It’s out on Coyote Records in May.
