Tha Carter V, the lengthy delayed twelfth studio album by Lil Wayne, has been held hostage for months now, and as Weezy continues to fight for his freedom from former “father” Birdman and label, Cash Money Records. While fans continue to wait for that unknown day to come, the Hollygrove rapper has took it among himself to release an album independently through Young Money Records, with the long-awaited release of Free Weezy Album. Unfortunately for some, Wayne has released the album as an exclusive through his co-owned streaming service TIDAL on this lovely July 4th afternoon.
The album features Young Jeezy, Wiz Khalifa, Cory Gunz, Bibi Bourelly, Cool & Dre, Kane Beatz and many more.
