Add Velvet to those recently announced albums
Just last week, Lil Wayne posted a mysterious comment on his personal Facebook page, revealing he was planning to release three projects this year – CV, Funeral and Dedication 6.
In a recent interview with REVOLT, Mack Maine of Young Money Entertainment, confirmed that Tunechi’s also gearing up to drop an unknown effort at some point this year as well, entitled Velvet. While he wouldn’t go into details about it, he said YMCMB also has plans for Drake’s upcoming More Life LP, which is set to release in the coming weeks, as well as the next Nicki Minaj album.
With Birdman confirming that Tha Cartetr V would release this year in an interview with Travi$ Scott, we’re hopeful the New Orleans legends have worked out their issues to get new content out to the public. Let us know in the comments if you want another Weezy flood.
