Lil Wayne & Kodak Black on List of President Donald Trump Pardons

With only two weeks left before President Donald Trump leaves office, he may grant pardons for two rappers who are facing time. According to Bloomberg, Donald is prioritizing his power to issue pardons and commutations and those on the list include Lil Wayne and Kodak Black.

Kodak faces three years in federal prison after being sentenced in November 2019 and pleading guilty to weapons charges. The rapper admitted to falsifying information on federal forms to buy firearms in Miami. Including these charges, he also faces sexual assault, weapons and drug charges in other states.

Weezy F. Baby faces a potential of 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

He was found with a gold-plated handgun in his luggage after his private place was searched in Miami in December of 2019. He claimed it was a Father’s Day gift. Police also found illegal drugs in his bag, even though he was not charged for that.

As you may recall, Wayne spend eight months in prison more than 10 years ago for a weapons charge in New York.

It’ll be interesting to see if either get pardoned by the President and how much backlash they receive as a result. Weezy already received plenty of it when he met with Donald last year, to the point his girlfriend broke up with him.
