Last night while watching Monday Night Football between the New Orleans Saints and Washington Redskins, we caught Lil Wayne a the special halftime show performer. Throughout the season, ESPN has been calling on different artists as part of their GENESIS series and Tunechi was next up to coincide with Tha Carter V dropping.
In the short performance, Weezy F. turns up with a bunch of kids on a field and performs the buzzing “Uproar” single with Swizz Beatz (Swizzy wasn’t present, but was there in spirit), to give the football and primetime crowd a little taste of Tha Carter.
Lil Wayne is a fan of ESPN anyway and they always show him love, so this made sense.
