Heartbreak happens to the best of us, and even Lissie has had to experience it recently. Maybe that’s why she’s been quiet since her 2010 Catching A Tiger album.
While it doesn’t seem like she’s sulking in her sadness with “Further Away (Romance Police),” it’s apparent she’s questioning love and everything that comes with relationships for her ’80s-sounding single. Broadcasting live from her hometown of Rock Island, Illinois, she let’s it all out in the open, and probably inches one step closer to letting the wound heal. Hold your head up, Lissie.
