Philly rapper lojii impressed with his DUE RENT album alongside Swarvy last year, but now he’s back with a new solo project. Out today is lofeye, a “personal exploration of artistry and versatility” with lojii’s raspy vocals at the heart of the 14 tracks.
“lofeye is about working with limited resources and making the highest quality life out of what the fuck you got,” lojii says about it. “It’s when you’re ‘lo-fi’ by circumstance (not just for aesthetic) but your aim is always higher. In essence, this is an LP about being rooted in the dirt you come from but reaching for the sky above you.”
