Today, the producer is sharing his new solo album The Ordinary Man, which builds on his signature sound of cinematic film noir and cabaret jazz, with features from the likes of Blu, Elzhi, Oddisee, Del the Funky Homosapien, Koreatown Oddity and Chuuwee. It’s described as “a concept album about a superstar magician disillusioned with the world that made his greatness,” and comes off a difficult time for L’Orange, who suffered tumors in his right ear which almost lead to total deafness in that side.
