One of Lou Phelps‘ grooviest tracks yet, “Come Inside,” now has an equally enticing set of visuals. In it, the Montreal rapper plays both a lively TV show host and a coach potato ignoring phone calls from a number he’s named “Do Not Answer.” We’ve all been there.
“I wanted to make a trippy video and the main inspiration was ‘Blame It on the Boogie’ from the Jacksons,” Phelps says. “So we were like ‘How can I get high without promoting drugs?’ And that’s where the incense came from.”
The song is produced by his brother, Kaytranada, and features a verse from another fellow Canadian, Jazz Cartier.
