Following Sunday’s Super Bowl 50 becoming the third most watched event in the history of television, CBS looked to continue their success with calling up Macklemore and Ryan Lewis to begin the pre-season festivities leading up to the presentation of the Grammy Awards in a few days. The north-west duo was Manhattan bound Monday night to make a visit to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and help bright notice to the #BlackLivesMatter movement.
Accompanied by Chicago vocalist Jamila Woods and a slew of poets to share their thoughts on social issues, watch their TV debut performance of “White Privilege II,” and look for their new album, This Unruly Mess I’ve Made, out this February 26th.
