Macklemore Shares Thoughts On GRAMMY Award For Best Rap Album

macklemore

Not long after the GRAMMYS took place last night, Macklemore decided to share a message sent to Kendrick Lamar, in which he felt that the Compton rapper deserved to win the award for best rap album for good kid, m.A.A.d city, instead of The Heist. Not only this, but before the awards finally aired, Kendrick took time acknowledge both his and Macklemore’s work in recent times, which gave the Seattle artist a chance to congratulate him in response to the kind gesture. Regardless of the end result, the nominations gave each of them a chance to be on the podium, along with some incredible performances.

Take a look at the messages of support after the jump.
