We literally haven’t heard much from Mariah Carey since she dropped her Caution album, but she’s a legend, so it doesn’t matter. She can release music and go on hiatus because her core fans will eat it up regardless. Tonight she pops up with a new single, which happens to be the official theme song for the new Black-Ish spinoff TV show Mixed-Ish on ABC. “In The Mix” certainly has that old ’90s vibe to it and keeps it feel-good throughout, as Mimi caters to the families and their children.
