It’s been a long time coming for Max B. The Wave has been waiting for release for a minute and will get the chance to do it this year. To get the buzz going before that time comes Biggavelli releases “Black and I’m Proud” for the waviest of fans. Max is back on his bullshit and he’s only getting shit started. Keep an eye out for his new album Negro Spirituals to drop soon, as well as a new mixtape before that.
Here’s what he had to say about the song:
“It’s about me really evolving as a person, evolving as an artist. My music five or six years ago — even before when I used to make music — it was good, but it lacked the experience I have today. The concept fell into my lap: I’m gonna transform from the old Max B into a powerful new artist with a display of content that they aren’t used to. I’m trying to give the people some substance.”
