With the amount of talent coming out of Toronto more than ever right now, it’s easy to get caught in the mix. Despite the rush of new artists, McCallaman manages to stand tall on his own, and just released his new EP Boy You Better Sing last week. The project consists of a compact three tracks produced, performed, written and mixed by himself, where he lays down soulful vocals over electronic production. Boy You Better Sing serves as the follow-up to his debut Black Pop EP, released last year.
If you recognize the name, McCallaman produced “When I Die” from GoldLink’s The God Complex project.
