Meek Mill has been on a chase since releasing his debut album Dreams and Nightmares back in 2012. After following that up in 2013 with the third installment of his Dreamchasers mixtape series, the Philly rapper started getting things rolling with street singles and guest features, all in preparation for his second studio albums planned release in September of 2014. That all came to a halt, when Meek’s probation was revoked and he was sentenced to three to six months in jail.
Once he returned home, Meek was back on his grind and hit us with the promo singles, “B Boy” with A$AP Ferg and Big Sean and “Monster,” produced by Jahlil Beats. Both records were enough to get his buzz back up and get folks ready for Meek Season. Over these past few weeks, we saw the singles “Check” and the recent “All Eyes On You” with Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj get released leading up to today’s release of Dreams Worth More Than Money.
The album comes loaded with guest features from Drake, The Weeknd, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, Future, Tory Lanez, Swizz Beatz, Jeremih and Diddy.
