It’s not very often that we find someone up for the challenge of remixing a Clams Casino beat, but Ryan Hemsworth tries and succeeds in the fondest of ways. The remix comes just after the release of the original song a few weeks ago. What Ryan does well is turning the track completely into his own to suit his capabilities, which makes this “Pull Me Down” remake an instant favourite. The gentle melodies are accompanied by beautiful backing sounds, as the quick succession of hi-hats give off a refined feeling. Look out for Mikky Ekko’s album dropping some time next year.
