Applaud Mister Cee for this. He just kicked off a Throwback At Noon special where every Tuesday, he showcases a group, label or artist, and has deemed it “Best Of Tuesdays.” He really took it back with plenty of arsenal from the entire Bad Boy Records catalog, spinning classics from everyone in the camp, old and new.
We were expecting to hear a bunch of The Notorious B.I.G. music, but if anything, we heard minimal Biggie tracks and more tunes from the likes of The LOX, Black Rob, G-Dep, Shyne, Yung Joc (pardon, had to laugh at that), Da Band, Boyz N The Hood, Craig Mack, Ma$e and the list goes on. Oh, and he didn’t keep it strictly to rap, The Finisher also snuck in some R&B from 112, Faith Evans, Carl Thomas, and more.
