In case you don’t know, Mulatto Beats has been producing for some of the your favorite new Chicago rappers over the past few years, such as Mick Jenkins and Lucki. Today, the 22-year old South Side producer is sharing his debut solo project titled .22SUMMERS, which finds him linking up with the previously mentioned Mick Jenkins and Lucki, along with King Louie, Alex Wiley, Trapo, Warhol.SS and Qaris and Thouxanbanfauni across 10 new tracks.
“A lot of the songs touch on things that you deal with being in Chicago during the summer,” Mulatto says about violence in the city. “It’s a lot, it’s hectic.”
