Sometimes in life, you’re caught in so much of the bullshit that it’s hard for you to enjoy the “Simple Things,” and that’s the message that Musiq Soulchild is trying to portray in his new music video for the single. As you can see in the clip, he’s trying to enjoy some time with his lover but she’s fighting with him and the two are not having a good time. Once he gets home to his daughter, he realizes she doesn’t need her and makes sure she knows it’s over between them.
