We don’t hear many response records as much anymore, but 17-year old Najee took it to Nas’ “Daughters” single to respond in the perspective of the guy his daughter is dating.
He keeps things respectful and even hopeful, as he ends the song looking towards the future and marriage. Maybe Nas would approve of ‘ol boy dating Destiny.
