At this point, you should have heard Illmatic a thousand times by now, enough to know the lyrics to most of the songs. Even after spinning the classic back mad times across decades, you’ve never heard Nas like this before. Thanks to a PBS documentary and his performance of the effort accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center, you can now listen to the event if you didn’t watch the special and/or would rather bump the live version of the album.
illmatic (Live From The Kennedy Center) will also be released on limited edition vinyl for Record Store Day 2018 if you want that as well.
