Nicki Minaj Hints at a Remy Ma Collab, New Album on Hot 97
Last week, Nicki Minaj took her sexy to cover the November issue of Marie Claire magazine. However, while many of us were lusting her latest thirst trap, media outlets believed the YMCMB artist took a few shots at Kanye West in her sit-down interview with the publication.
In the chat, Nicki said, “I’m so tired of black women feeling that when our men get rich, they’re going to leave them for a woman of a different race. It wasn’t funny when Kanye said [in his 2005 hit ‘Gold Digger’], ‘When he get on, he’ll leave our ass for a white girl’ — and Kanye happens to be with a white girl now. It wasn’t funny when he said it; it was the fucking truth.”
This caused some confusion with fans and possibly the West family, if they didn’t directly read the interview themselves and heard from third person. Minaj went to clarify her comments on social media today, standing by what she said and that Yeezy speaks truths that people don’t want to hear, even if they don’t agree with it. Take a look at the series of comments below, as well as interviews on Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning and Power 105’s The Breakfast Club.
