Novelist recently worked on two of his biggest collaborations to date through Baauer’s “Day Ones” and Skepta’s “Lyrics,” but he’s continuing to go slightly left with his solo material. After dropping tracks all year, the Lewisham emcee is back again with “Snitches,” and it might just be his most experimental yet with its constant loops. It’s all part of the movement he’s calling Ruff Sound, which kind of feels like a sub-genre of grime.
