We were hooked as soon as we heard ODESZA and Leon Bridges‘ new collaboration “Across the Room” last month, so we’re glad it’s now got the visual treatment. The feel-good video shows Bridges turning up to a party with some beers and greeting various family members; adults are mingling and eating food off the barbecue, kids are playing, and Bridges just can’t help but dance.
“We’d been fans of Leon Bridges for a while, so being able to work with him on a song was an honor,” ODESZA say about working with Leon. “We asked him what he wanted to do for the music video and he said he just wanted to dance. He showed up to the shoot and freestyled the entire thing. This song was one of the few times we recorded to tape, so it felt fitting to shoot this video on 35mm, and we’re really happy with how it turned out.”
