D.R.A.M. Big Baby D.R.A.M.
Released: October 21st, 2016
Must Listen: 100%

D.R.A.M. burst on the scene with the song “Cha Cha,” and many wondered would he have any longevity after dropping such a hit his first go around. He dropped an accompanying EP, Gahdamn, but the question remained could he produce another big hit? He answered that by dropping “Broccoli” featuring Lil Yachty, and that has since went double platinum, and also served as the lead single from his debut album Big Baby D.R.A.M.

It was interesting to see what D.RA.M. would do on his debut project, and he showed us he has a lot of different styles to play around with. He’s very witty and humorous, and you can hear this in the music, as well as see it in the very playful cover art. The cover, which features him posing with his dog as if their best buds, lets you know a good time is in store. He croons when needed, drops light bars when needed, but you can tell he’s having fun and that’s what matters most here. He also made a bold move by only having 3 features on his debut album, and it paid off tremendously. The collab with the Queen Erykah Badu is amazing though, so you for sure want to check that out. But by only having 3 features we get to hear what he’s really all about.

Songs like “Get It Myself,” “Cash Machine,” and “100%” all display why D.R.A.M. is here to stay. He’s great at love songs, he’s great at fun songs, and he has a unique voice that stands out in a crowd of others. When you spin Big Baby D.R.AM. it’s a fun time, so listen to it if you haven’t already.
