Two days ago we did a tribute flashback to Rakim the GOD. Coincidentally, yesterday Mister Cee did a Hot 97 “throwback at noon” tribute that featured Rakim, KRS-One and Big Daddy Kane. We loved the mix so much that we felt it was only right continue to pay homage to the other emcees from that classic set the finisher mixed down yesterday.
One of my personal favorite tracks from the 1989 “Ghetto Music: The Blueprint of Hip Hop” from Boogie Down Productions, “You Must Learn” really influenced my life a whole lot growing up and being positive person still today. Easily one of the most underrated albums of all time, sit back and enjoy this classic hip-hop lesson from the Boom Bap as in return he gives us all history about our past, because you must learn.
We’re not done.
