Homegrown Columbus artist P. Blackk has seen an overwhelming response from listeners over recent times, particularly after the release of his Blackk Friday project on iTunes just over a year ago. A notable feature that you may be quite familiar with came from the impressive collective Fly.Union.
Back with a full body of work, the attentive lyricist creates another vintage hip-hop feeling throughout the course of 13 tracks with his Contemporary Nostalgia album. Guest appearances come from affiliated artists Raz Fresco, Fabrashay, Renee Dion and many more. You may notice a cohesive sound kept from track to track, which is due to the entire project being handled by the talented J. Rawls. With cosigns from the likes of Peter Rosenberg to Erykah Badu, we couldn’t emphasize the strength of the artist’s music any more.
