YG is not starting the year on the right foot because at the early morning hours of Friday, he was arrested and taking to jail to be booked. According to TMZ, L.A. County Sherriff’s showed up at his San Fernando Valley house at 4am after obtaining a search warrant in a related robbery case. Law enforcement then arrested the 4 Hunnid rapper and took him to jail, where he will be booked for robbery.
Though more details on the case are not yet known, YG has been in the headlines recently when an SUV registered under his name was involved in a shootout that turned fatal.
It is not yet determined if those incidents are connected.
