Last time we checked our calendars, it was 2013, but after listening to Pond’s “Giant Tortoise” we wouldn’t think so. Tame Impala 1.5 (aka there are three members of the group in Pond), are releasing their new album, Hobo Rocket, in the next few months and their single “Giant Tortoise” sounds like a blast from the past. Sort of like what the Baby Boomers would have been blogging about in the psychedelic ’70s.
