Prince – Mary Don’t You Weep

Artist: Prince
Song: “Mary Don’t You Weep”
Producer: Prince
Album: BlacKkKlansman
Director: Spike Lee

If you’ve been at the movie theaters lately, specifically to go watch BlacKkKlansman, you may have caught this Prince song playing during the end credits. The song made its way into the Spike Lee movie because he said his good friend would have approved. Either way, it coincides with the release of the upcoming posthumous A Piano & A Microphone album from the Purple One, which is scheduled for release on September 21. Now, the song gets a visual directed by Lee himself, consisting of footage from the movie.

If you haven’t caught the film yet, you can watch another preview through the clip above, soundtracked by the smooth sounds of Prince.
