The New Album Drops Next Month
Over the past couple of weeks, Pusha T has returned to the spotlight with his Adidas Originals collaboration, becoming president of G.O.O.D. Music and his new single “Untouchable.” Today, Pusha stopped by the VICE office to reveal that his new album Darkest Before Dawn will be released on December 18th. The project serves as a prelude to his long-awaited King Push album, which is due out in the spring.
Speaking on King Push, Pusha T said:
“I’ve been recording so much—I didn’t want to break up that body of work. I feel like I had the producers doing things that they weren’t usually known for, a little out of their wheelhouse. I wanted to give the fans that body of work. That’s the music I love, and that’s the music that my fans love from me. Instead of having those moments throughout King Push, let’s just separate the game.”
