Pusha T Details ‘DAYTONA’ Album, Explains Why He Changed Title

Pusha T took to Twitter today to detail his upcoming DAYTONA album, which is set for release this Friday (May 25).

In a series of tweets, he explained that he changed the title from King Push to DAYTONA due to the fact that he “felt it didn’t represent the overall message of this body of work. ‘DAYTONA’ represents the fact that I have the luxury of time. That luxury only comes when u have a skill set that your confident in.”

He also spoke on what to expect from the content on the Kanye West-produced project. “This album is for my family… high taste level, luxury, drug raps fans,” he said. “Literally this is nothing more than the outcome of our musical therapy sessions.”

Pusha also said that the album doesn’t have any artwork yet, with the final master only turned in today. “No single (what are those?),” he said. “I’m not interested in any of that.”
