R. Kelly’s Health Is Deteriorating in Jail, Wants to be Released

Robert Kelly is not having the best time in jail because according to documents obtained by TMZ, the veteran singer is currently battling a number of issues in prison.

According to his lawyer, who filed legal documents on behalf of his client, Kellz has experienced numbness in one of his hands, an untreated hernia and anxiety inside a Chicago jail, where is he being held without bail. he describes the situation as “stifling,” considering he has not received adequate medical treatment in the facility.

Over the course of the past few months, his lawyer has complained about his conditions inside prison and questioned how he’s being treated.

Kelly’s legal team has asked the judge for a release and promised he is not a flight risk. He also claims Robert will not tamper or intimidate witnesses if he is released.

A judge has set a trial for April 27, 2020 in the federal case where is charged of obstruction of justice and child pornography.
