Rick Ross and Roc Nation are being sued over the “Maybach Music” tagline, according to TMZ.
Rapper Young Muhammad claims that Ross got the idea for “Maybach Music” from his 2007 song “Caprice Music,” which Ross can be heard saying the phrase on. Muhammad threatened to sue Ross back in September, but now he’s taking him to small claims court and wants $9,999 for theft of his intellectual property. He’s also suing Roc Nation for endorsing “Maybach Music.”
