We’ve lost track at how long fans have been waiting for Rihanna‘s album R9. The Barbados superstar has been busy with her FENTY line and she’s completely dominated in that market.
Now, in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she is giving people an update.
“I am always working on music and when I am ready to put it out in the way that I feel fit, it’s gonna come out. [Y]ou’re not going to be disappointed when it happens. It’s going to be worth it… I’m not just gonna put it out just because people are waiting… It’s taken this long, I’m gonna make it worth it.”
While we don’t have a definitive date for it yet, through the years, she’s trickled out information on it. As most should know, it will be reggae-themed and include possible collaborations with Pharrell, Koffee and more.
Over 500 songs have been recorded for the project thus far.
