With his On Earth, and in Heaven coming soon, Robin Thicke is now sharing the album’s opening track. Drawing inspiration from some of his heroes, “Lucky Star” is a song dedicated to his late father Alan Thicke and Uptown Records founder Andre Harrell. The release of the track also inspired a personal message on Instagram about who his lucky stars are.
In the throwback post from the set of Growing Pains, Thicke confessed that the song is the last he recorded and the first on the album.
