Rome Fortune‘s debut album Jerome Raheem Fortune (released on Fool’s Gold Records) was one of the best new projects of 2016. But, as one of the year’s early releases, it probably didn’t get the credit it deserved.
Today, he’s starting the new year on a high with the release of “Boo Mobile II,” a track produced by Toro Y Moi. The song actually uses the production from “Boo Boo Mobile” from Toro’s Samantha mixtape — Rome featured on the tracks “Pitch Black” and “Benjiminz” from that same project.
They make a great pairing.
UPDATE: Rome Fortune drops another song called “Leotard,” also produced by Toro Y Moi.
