Royce Da 5’9″ has been spitting nothing but bars through “Boblo Boat” and “Stay Woke,” the first two singles off his Book of Ryan album (out May 4th).
This week, the Detroit MC is back with more new music in the form of “Dumb,” a collaboration with fellow Shady Records artist, Compton’s Boogie, who spits a verse. “I’m no longer a prospect, I’m what you call a veteran, legend man, I’m a prophet,” Royce raps. “You ain’t no artist, you’re what I would call a concept, made to inspire gossip like Shade Room or like Bossip.”
The production has a real West Coast feel to it.
