Royce Da 5’9″ has been recording a lot of music, so not everything made the cut for his upcoming Layers album. Not to worry though, because the Detroit rapper is putting the leftovers onto a new EP he’s calling Tabernacle: Trust The Shooter. One of those tracks “Dead President Heads,” which is produced by Streetrunner, is getting its official release today after its premiere with Sway earlier this month.
Here’s what he had to say about the EP:
“My original concept was to release a b-side record to coincide with the release of “Tabernacle.” But it turned into an entire EP that was inspired by a photo my man JD took at the ‘Tabernacle’ video shoot. Trust The Shooter is his brand and we both thought it would be dope to give fans all new music not available on the album.”
