Royce Da 5’9″ – Tabernacle

It’s been four years since Royce Da 5’9″ released his last solo album Success Is Certain. The Detroit rapper has remained active through his collaborative material with the likes of Eminem, Slaughterhouse and his current joint work with DJ Premier as the illustrious duo PRhyme.

Now he’s ready to get back on his solo grind with the upcoming release of his sixth studio album Layers. The first single “Tabernacle” was received at the top of the month, and today Royce is back with the official music video for the track, that finds him from the insides of a church where he reflects on his life, from the start of his career to where he’s at now.

Royce’s Layers album is expected to release next month on April 15 via Bad Half Entertainment.
