Rap isn’t the only thing that DJ Premier can remix. Days after flipping a J. Cole record, Primo is taking things across the pond to London, England with Rudimental‘s “These Days” hit. Compared to the original, he has stripped the electronic pop out of it and given it piano and soul. He slowed things up as well, yet Jess Glynne, Macklemore & Dan Caplen still sound at home. The finished product is a cross between a Gang Starr R&B track.
Rudimental will be releasing their new album Toast To Our Differences on September 7.
