Sabrina Claudio Issues Apology for Racist Comments

Sabrina Claudio has issued an apology for racist social media comments that have resurfaced over the past few days. “I am deeply sorry for the insensitive words I’ve used,” the 21-year old singer says. “I’ve made mistakes and while I cannot take them back, I will learn from them.”

The old tweets, which have since been deleted, were sent via her old Twitter handle @ODamnYourUgly, and involved her using the N-word, saying “it must suck to be a black girl with no booty” and other hateful comments towards black women and Latinas. She also called someone a “sweaty chonga” earlier this year.
